Puree machines are used to produce puree from fruits, berries, and vegetables. The produce can be processed fresh and whole, or after blanching, or after chopping, and is separated into two fractions: a liquid fraction containing fine pulp particles and a solid fraction (pits, seeds, peel, and stems). Pureeing involves pressing the product through the holes in a perforated drum under the action of centrifugal force generated by the rotation of a rotor with blades inside the drum.
