Spagni MASUPTESTA screw-on capper
MASUPTESTA — a Spagni bench-top capping machine for aluminium screw-on caps (ROPP). The head, fitted with 3 or 4 rollers, forms the thread and screws the cap onto the bottle.
How it works
The operator places a bottle with a cap already fitted onto the tray, starts the rotating head, and uses a lever to guide the bottle from below towards the head; within a few seconds, the head rolls the thread and seals the cap. There is a safety button. It differs from the SUPERTESTA in that the bottle is raised to the head, rather than the other way round. The head is selected to suit the cap and bottle: before dispatch, Spagni advises sending a technical data sheet or samples.

Which caps are suitable? Aluminium screw caps that are screwed onto the neck thread; the head is selected to match the cap size.
3 or 4 rollers? Both versions are available; Spagni makes no recommendations – choose according to the cap and consult the manufacturer.
What is the maximum bottle size? Up to 200 mm in diameter and up to 350 mm in height.
