The Spagni PNEU BIG FORMAT 1000-5000 pneumatic piston dosing machine is designed for single-dose dispensing and filling of Bag-in-Box containers up to 5 litres. It is the preferred choice for thicker products.
Principle of operation
The piston mechanism dispenses the product using compressed air; operation is controlled either by a foot pedal or automatically. For Bag-in-Box packaging, the machine is fitted with a dispensing nozzle and a bag holder. Speed and pressure are adjustable, whilst the flow rate is set using a screw with a handle. Filling in multiples of the volume is also supported. Unlike the larger RIBOX VPE and RIBOXMATIC models, this machine is powered by compressed air, so a compressor is required for operation.
