BAMBY is a Spagni electro-pneumatic semi-automatic corking machine on a trolley. It is designed for producers who use both mushroom corks for sparkling wines and flat corks.
How it works
The cork is clamped by four stainless steel jaws and inserted into the bottle neck; the machine is activated by pressing two buttons simultaneously. Corks are fed from a 10–11-piece feed tube and are positioned manually. This distinguishes the BAMBY from the pneumatic AIRSUG and AIR RASO models, which operate only with flat corks: the BAMBY can cork both mushroom-shaped and flat corks. The motor is three-phase, whilst an inverter is available for a single-phase 230 V supply. In the Spagni price list, the machine is recommended for use in combination with the PM04 and PM05 muesli machines.

Applications
Corking of sparkling wine bottles with mushroom corks and still wine bottles with standard corks in small and medium-sized production facilities. For sparkling wine, a mousselier is required after corking.
