The Spagni RIBOX VPE automated Bag-in-Box filler is designed for production lines with a steady product flow. It fills bags with a tap, ranging from 1 to 20 litres.
Principle of operation
Volume metering is controlled by a PLC with a touchscreen. Upon pressing START, the machine evacuates air from the bag (this function can be disabled), fills it, injects nitrogen before sealing (this can also be disabled) and stops automatically. The head height is adjusted semi-automatically. The volume is measured by an electromagnetic meter, whilst the flow is provided by a stainless steel pump and a 1.5 HP oil-free compressor. This is the most technologically advanced solution among Spagni’s Bag-in-Box models.

Water, wine, vinegar, oil, juices, tomato purée and other non-magnetic liquids. Vacuum and nitrogen reduce product oxidation.
