What the calculator computes
An animated simulation of a vacuum pasta press. Change the screw diameter and speed, the channel depth, cooling, the die and the cut length — the press section shows how the dough is carried forward by the flights, compacted and forced through the die, and the charts show how pressure and temperature build up.
Result: output of dry pasta in kg/h and per shift, dough from the press, pressure and temperature at the die, screw drive power, exit speed, knife speed and number of pieces, the dough recipe (flour, water, egg) and the whole chain from flour to packing with the amount of water the dryer removes. For drying, a static or tunnel dryer is suggested and you can build the line layout right away. The model is indicative.
