Wire hooding machine Spagni PM06

PM06 — a Spagni bench-top machine for fitting mushroom-head stoppers: the stopper is held in place pneumatically, whilst the cage is screwed on by hand.

Principle of operation

The pneumatic clamp holds the cork in place whilst the operator screws on the cage, and the height is adjusted to suit the bottle. The system is controlled by two monostable and one bistable valves; the compressor’s operating pressure is 8 bar. The PM06 UNI version features an automatic screw-on mechanism, whilst the PM06 SG version features only manual screw-on of the cage with an ‘on/off’ pneumatic clamp. The frame is made of enamelled iron; stainless steel is available on request.
