Moulding line for large 250 g bars

Large bars cool longer so the tunnel is longer and the cooling power higher. The calculator estimates all this from a single set of data.

Frequently asked questions

Why does cooling load depend on fat content?
Because crystallising cocoa butter releases heat that the tunnel must remove on top of cooling the mass itself.

The calculations are approximate: they help to assess the process and compare options, but do not replace a process design and trials on a specific raw material. This section is for reference only and contains no commercial offers.
