Bottle filler Spagni RP

The Spagni RP linear pressurised filler is designed for filling liquids into glass and PET bottles. It is intended for wineries, vinegar producers and other small-scale production facilities where the product range includes thicker liquids.

Principle of operation

Unlike the RI series of gravity-fed fillers, in the RP series the liquid is fed into a tank with a constant level by a positive displacement pump. The bottles are filled directly, and at the end of the cycle, an automatic bypass relieves excess pressure, returning the liquid to the tank. The level in the bottle is set using spacers from the kit. This is a pump-pressurised filler, not an isobaric (counter-pressure) unit, so it is not suitable for carbonated products.

Key specifications

• Models: RP3, RP4 and RP6 (3, 4 or 6 nozzles)
• Nozzles: Ø16 mm
• Capacity: up to 180 l/h per nozzle (for water)
• Stainless steel tanks: one (RP3, RP4) or two (RP6)
• Stainless steel fittings
• Included: set of level spacers, spare gaskets; swing supports available for PET

Applications

Suitable for wine, vinegar, juices and other liquids, particularly viscous ones where gravity-fed dispensing is insufficient. For PET bottles, a swing arm should be ordered at the same time.

Frequently asked questions

How does the RP differ from the RI? In the RP, the liquid is pumped into the tank by a positive displacement pump, so the machine can handle thicker liquids; in the RI, the liquid flows by gravity.

Is it suitable for carbonated drinks? No, this is not an isobaric filler.

How many nozzles should I choose? Options are available with 3, 4 and 6 nozzles; the six-nozzle model has two tanks.
