Spagni 200FS diatomaceous earth filter
The Spagni 200FS diatomaceous earth filter is a tabletop model with a 230 V electric pump for filtering wine and other food-grade liquids. It is the larger version of the FAMILY model, designed for those who need to filter larger volumes.
How it works
The model combines two types of filtration: a fabric bag containing a layer of diatomaceous earth or cellulose, and a pack of round cardboard discs with a diameter of 18 cm. The bag and the cardboard discs operate simultaneously — providing two stages of filtration in a single pass. The bag is 11 m long (compared to 6 m in the FAMILY model), and the fittings are Ø19 mm as opposed to Ø15 mm. Conversion kits are available for 10, 15, 25 and 30 cardboard discs.
