Spagni MXC10 housing filter
The Spagni MXC10 housing filter — an AISI 316 stainless steel housing for the pre-filtration of wine, vinegar, oil and other food-grade liquids. Operates under vacuum and under pressure.
Principle of operation
The liquid passes through a 10″ stainless steel cartridge housed in a casing with an electropolished lid; the flask is fitted with a drain plug. The filter does not replace clarification or sterilisation, but protects subsequent stages. There are two versions: the ‘Housing’ and the ‘FULL’ – featuring a stainless steel frame, a Ø19 mm connection, a manometer/vacuum gauge (−1…+5 bar) and a 50 µm mesh cartridge. It differs from the MXS180 bag filter in its cartridge design.
