Spagni MONACO M cardboard filter
The Spagni MONACO M cardboard filter is a tabletop filter for 20 × 20 cm cardboard filters, without a pump. Designed for clarifying wine, vinegar, beer, liqueurs and juices; an oil version is available separately (MONACO M OIL).
Principle of operation
The liquid passes through a pack of cellulose filter papers clamped between food-grade plastic plates; the degree of clarification depends on the grade of filter paper. Feed is by gravity or via an external pump. The pack is compressed by a central screw. This model differs from the MONACO ME in that it lacks a pump, and from the OIL model in that it includes a set of cardboard sheets for wine and a set of gaskets. The set includes a central screw, cardboard sheets for wine clarification and spare gaskets.
