The Spagni MXS180 02 housing filter is an AISI 316 stainless steel bag filter housing for microfiltration, designed for bags with a diameter of 180 mm. It is also suitable for dry hopping of beer.
Principle of operation
A polyester bag housed in a plastic ring is inserted into the flask, which is sealed by a TClamp quick-release clamp. For dry hopping, the bag containing the hops remains in the housing whilst the beer circulates. The bags are available in five grades: 200, 100, 50, 25 and 1 µm. This model differs from the MXC10 cartridge model in its bag configuration and larger 2″ connection.
